A pioneer of medical engineering, Dr Karl Storz founded »Karl Storz Endoskope« in 1945 before going on to initiate and drive forward the creation of STORZ MEDICAL AG.
Our shock wave systems have proven themselves millions of times over, particularly in urology for the treatment of kidney and ureteral stones. Today, our gentle, non-invasive shock wave technology is also being successfully deployed in numerous other medical specialties.

It enables in-line X-ray or ultrasound imaging to provide the most accurate in-situ localization of the concrements.
