The Solution for Demanding Requirements
Optimum ergonomics and the use of cutting edge technology ensure ideal working conditions. Physicians benefit from this just as much as their patients. The unique rotation facility of the stationary X-ray system creates sufficient working space above the patient, an unlimited field of view and free access to the table. This means that the MODULITH® SLX-F2 »connect« with its integrated lithotripter is the only system on the market that meets all the demands of a modern, urological X-ray workstation.
The MODULITH® SLX-F2 »connect« provides users with all the instruments they need to carry out any type of intervention in modern kidney stone therapy safely and conveniently.

Advanced System Components

Thanks to the cylindrical design of the STORZ MEDICAL therapy coil, the stone can always be imaged in situ on the central axis of the therapy head - even during shock wave treatment - regardless of whether anteroposterior (AP) fluoroscopic projection or ultrasound localization is performed. In-line configuration ensures that obstacles in the shock wave path, such as ribs or the iliac wing, are instantly visible and can be bypassed during shock wave application.

No two stones or anatomies are the same. Hence, different focal zones are required to accommodate different stone sizes and positions. The MODULITH® SLX-F2 »connect« offers a dual focus, allowing selection of shock wave parameters best suited to the patient's specific indication and a personalized treatment strategy. Focal size can be changed merely at the press of a button, even during treatment - a ground-breaking solution in the history of lithotripsy.

The StorM-Touch central control platform gives operators full control of all system functions. All integrated system components are controlled from a touch screen, either from a remote control panel behind leadglass windows or directly in the treatment room. The optional automated LithoPos® stone positioning system is a dose-reducing tool that is also integrated into the StorM-Touch platform. In addition, various integrated software applications enable rapid post-processing of X-ray images.

StorM-Base is a urological patient database and offers an ideal interface for retrieving and importing all patient and treatment data. The intuitive, modern design facilitates necessary documentation in daily clinical practice and makes time-consuming manual preparation of patient reports a thing of the past.
